About Me

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics in the College of Business at the University of Akron and an economic consultant. I study the factors that lead to the economic success (or economic decline) of places. I focus on attracting and keeping a skilled workforce and the importance of enhancing the quality of life in communities. I also co-host The Suburban Women Problem Podcast.
